My '07 has a handle but I don't use it. I pull down on the latch catch.

A friend got me to use an electric leaf blower to get the excess water out of hidden spaces; works great; saves towel time

Lose the attitude man...who the **** are you? I can ask a question whether I own a vette or not, maybe I want to buy one in the future? Its none of your business and if you dont want to answer the questions then leave the thread.

Placement of the interior light switch in front of your left knee. I can't tell you who many times I have accidental hit the thing turning the lights on and the trying to figure out what I did.

I am 6' 2" and in normal driving position my knee is about three inches from the switch. If I was shorter in stature, I would move the seat closer to the dash, but my shorter legs would be lower and remain well away from that switch.
And if I was taller, my seat would be back further and I still would not have accidental contact between the switch and my knee.
How can you do that?

1) Listening to the front airdam scrape every time I back out of my driveway.
2) The care necessary to enter and exit every driveway, everywhere, all of the time.
3) The care necessary to avoid parking bumpers, curbs and speed bumps in parking lots.
4) The extra effort needed to get out of the car.
5) The cargo space that's lost when the targa top is off and stored in the back of the coupe.
6) The windshield rear view mirror and the OnStar box blocking my view out of the front windshield.
7) The restraint necessary to drive the car on the street legally, and avoid moving violations.
These issues are probably why most of these cars just sit, unused in their owner's garages. Even with an automatic transmission, these cars are not good daily drivers. They are real cool toys though.

2019 GS Coupe
My 2011 grand sport coupe is awesome except for the removable roof squeaking and popping. What is frustrating is they (gm) has been dealing with this issue in previous year c6 cars and the problem continues. This sad for a car with 5000 miles. Other than that issue the car is perfect.

I agree with the Owner who says that no car is perfect. I also would like to say that everytime I hop in this car I feel thankful that we live in a country where imperfect mortals can build something so fantastic to drive and DAMN NEAR PERFECT. I love you Chevrolet Corvette builder people!

To be honest, I've been a repeat buyer of vettes for 35 years, because I have been extremely satisfied. Few if any cars match the blend of performance, style, comfort, driving enjoyment and value that the vette has. Many other cars have come and gone from my garage, but a vette has been there consistently all the time.

Dear Badgerfan87,
I am glad that you are happy with your 2011 Chevrolet Corvette. From reading further in your post, you wrote that GM has been dealing with this issue for the previous year. Is it safe to assume that you have had your vehicle in and out of the dealership for this issue for about a year?
Sincerely,
Michelle, Chevrolet Customer Service (assisting Laura)

Love the car. Very happy to have it, and wouldn't change much. Things I love slightly less:
1 - The polished wheels seem to not be polished as well as my C5's, particularly, the look of the barrels.
2 - Nav. I'm a nav defender in this car and actually like many of the powerful nav features. However, I want a better find nearest XXX POI function and a voice command that actually works. Really, just one command that it understands would be a step in the right direction.
3 - Slightly finicky bluetooth. It works great with some of my phones, not as much with some of the others. Clearly, the phone has something to do with it because it works well with some, but the same phone with issues works well with other cars.
4 - Lack of use of power top while moving slowly - I know the work around of lifting up on the ebrake one click, so this really is nitpicky, but other cars support top usage at low speeds.
5 - Some of the interior things already mentioned. I don't find it too bad, but I did some DSV mods, so obviously I felt things could be improved upon.
