Default I don't wave but...

I feel bad when my wife and are out for a ride and she tells me that another Vette waved. I'm blind and can't wave back in time. I wonder if the other folks think I'm a jerk for not waving. Well, I can be a jerk, but not for the reason they may think. So do I just stick my hand up to wave all the time or just sit there? She usually does wave though.Am I "grandfathered" because she waves? I'm kind of kidding, but I do feel funny about it too.

He makes a hell of a co-pilot and a great member of the Posse.

No eyesight doesn't mean you can't let your other seances feed you the Vette experience!

More power to ya but... how do you drive a 'Vette if you're blind? Or post on the forums? I'm confused.

Now here is a blind guy who is making every effort to wave. None of us have any excuses anymore.

No Monday night out for you this evening? Next Monday is Corvette Night at Marks Cruise. Every Corvette you missed waiving to will be there. You'll be able to waive all night and get all of them back!

PS: Your wife has a much better wave than you

Well, I don't drive and never have. I call myself "08 Shotgun" because we have an '08 CRM vert, and I ride shotgun all the time. As for posting, my computer has a "screen reader" software that reads what is on the screen to me.

I've been a car guy my whole life, but Corvettes have always been number 1. My wife is driver 1, but I also go cruising with my buddies.

Wow that's cool. You'd have a perspective from riding in different Corvettes that most of us would never notice!

How about this, on a cruise night and after you've waived at the same Vettes do you keep waving every time you meet on the same cruise or can you just go to the nod? lol

Shotgun - Good on you for enjoying the vette experience. Good on your wife for driving and enjoying with you. I love to wave to other Vette drivers whether they wave to me or not. But I think as passenger, your free pass is good. I've rarely seen a passenger wave. I guess your wife could always say "wave honey" or "wave right" or wave left" if you really want to keep up the tradition.

If you aren't driving, you don't need to wave. Only the driver should wave. If your wife isn't waving when driving, please KHITB.
