Like "DRLC5" said, I bought my 2011 SSB Grand Sport Coupe from MacMulkin Chevrolet-Cadillac up in New Hampshire.
In fact, I am in the Philippines and bought the car via a few emails and a couple of phone calls. Not bad for being almost 9,000 air miles from MacMulkin Chevrolet!
Arranged the payment for the car through a wire transfer from my bank to MacMulkin's bank account in New Hampshire.
Even got the extra USAA rebate on the car by having USAA send Tommy Jr, an email stating that I was a member of USAA.
Other than a photo, I haven't laid eyes on the car yet. Tommy is arranging transportation for my wife and I when we land at the airport just a 15 minutes ride to the dealership.
Anyway ... buying this car was the least stressful car buying experience that I have ever had ... and with MacMulkin, there are no "hidden / add-on" charges such as Dealer Prep, Doc Fees, Environmental Fee, Additional Dealer Markup or Advertising Fees.
You get a 20 day Temp tag from them, and your on your way ... pay the state tax, title and plates when you get the car to whatever state you want to register the car in ... Simple as that!

Great price and experience getting my GS from Tommy Jr. Drove the 200mi to get the car, did the deal on-line, I will not buy from any other dealer in the Northeast.

Bought my 10 GS from TJR and Ron, it was an awesome experience. Picked me up at the airport, signed papers, went over the car in detail, and I drove it 1000 miles to get er home.

Tommy said it's most common for people to fly in to buy the car and fly home, then have it delivered to their local dealer.
The price they had for my car was soooooo much lower than I could get it for locally that the added expense of a flight and drive home was chump change in the overall cost. When I tried to get a couple of local dealers to match the MacMulkin price they laughed. They had no idea how MacMulkin could sell the car at that price.

Thanks for the follow up guys....looks like it is about settled for me. Probably will go ahead and buy the car then fly up and get it in August.

I bought my new GS from Tommy Jr from 2000 miles away. I had it delivered in an enclosed car truck from Intercity Lines. I can recommend Tommy Jr without reservation. I got exactly the car I wanted. Even with the cost of shipping it was a better deal than I could find closer to home.
And...I didn't have to deal with a pushy or uninformed car salesman in a showroom. Tommy knows Corvettes. MacMulkin's posted forum price was the bottom line with no extras or surprises.

Tommy Jr is awesome. Bought my ZO6 from him, and was so impresssed I went out of my way again to grab an SRX from him. You won't be disappointed. First class people and facility to say the least.

My experience as well. All of the "local" dealers (3 within 100 mi.) I checked were $2K higher than Tommy' quote.

Thought I had a deal almost in place but t seems that Ron and Tom are on two different pages. I don't know now. I thought it would be as simple as as cutting them a check for a deposit but that does not seem to be the case. I guess the incentives change from month to month.
