Amica insurance
Because of another thread on here, I decided to check them how. Holy cow! $8K/year. Double what I am paying with Geico. Are they THAT MUCH better?

You probably got that from my post on another thread. I have had Amica since 1976 and I pay $837 minus 20% annual dividend which equals $670 per year for my Vette and that is for full coverage, liability, comprehensive, collision, fire & theft and full glass coverage. I don't know how you came up with a quoted price of $8K per year. You must have one he** of a driving record.

Clean record for both me and my wife (no claims or moving violations), car is garaged. Yes, I am in NYC, but my quotes usually average $1,800 to $2,000 with Geico, State Farm, All State, etc. Quote was for 300/300 with $1000 deductable.

My parents, who have been with Amica for almost 20 years, just recently switched to another insurer and the savings are significant.
I am with GEICO ever since I began driving, have the best coverage they offer and to be honest I don't see why you would need anything more unless you plan on inflicting some real serious property damages.
When I dropped my targa top on the pavement like an idiot, they covered the replacement with no questions asked. They even let me get the quote from the dealer of my choice.

I switched to Amica several months ago after being with Allstate for decades. Result is a boatload of $$$ savings by switching all my lines of insurance to Amica. Homeowners will be 1/3 less after the annual dividend. Allstate wanted over $1800/yr when I bought the ZR1. After paying about $900/yr on the 06Z, I thought that $1800 was completely over the top and forced me to shop my car insurance for the very first time in my life. Amica quoted less than $600/yr for the ZR1. So I moved 4 vehicles/3 drivers/home/umbrella over to Amica and saved big on every single item. I have the feeling that Amica rewards very low risk policyholders with very low premiums.

Love Amica! $1700/year total for both cars with full coverage and 500 deductible on both cars. Also have my homeowners with Amica. No auto claims, but had a homeowners claim and Amica paid in full and made it very easy.
Oh and dont forget about the dividend which is usually about $200 back each year. Not sure if that is on the auto or home or both. Either way its nice to get a check from your insurance company when there isn't an accident or other mishap involved.

I hate all of you.
As I said before Geico gives me a better rate than anyone else but being 22 years old I pay...
$3,060 a year for one car.
