PICS: New OZ Wheels and M/T DRs
Was getting tired of going sideways every time I stepped on the gas so the runflats went bye bye....
OZ Alleggerita HLTs (18x8.5 & 18x11) with stock F1 Supercars in front and 305/35/18 M/T DR IIs on the rear....
The wheels are EXTREMELY light. The fronts are a touch under 18 pounds and the rears are just under 20. Sorry, I didn't weigh the wheel/tire combo before I bolted them on. I could do it at some point if anyone's interested.
They're definitely the least blingy wheels I could have picked and that's what I like about 'em. The race car look is really growing on me a lot. I think they make the car look 10 times more aggressive.
Just some quick shots for reference...I'll take some prettier ones when I can get a nice backdrop somewhere.

2) it seems like you can feel the rear move around just a little bit when you throw the car hard around a corner. It's not serious, but it's a bit different than the stock run-flats. To be expected I suppose....

looks great !!! you will love the traction. one draw back tho............be very CAREFUL in the RAIN !!!! DO NOT use cruise control, and keep your speed down to 55 MPH. they will hydroplane like crazy if you don't. ask me how i know............ almost spun and just missed crashing into a bridge abutment. good luck, cranky

If I remember correctly the factory wheels are at least 4-5 pounds heavier each.
Oh I'm fully aware of the wet traction situation. Fortunately the car spends most of its time on local trips where I could take surface roads home if I got caught in a downpour. I don't really want to deal with highway speeds in the wet on these....
The traction difference really is night and day though. I tried a little 2nd gear pull from 30 mph and it was a feeling I have never gotten from the car since the blower went on it. I let off at 80 mph which came up in a blink and it felt like getting shot out of a cannon....
With the run-flats, even rolling into the throttle in THIRD gear was sending me sideways as soon as the boost really started to come on.
