Great job! Black is just awsome after a proper detail. Enjoy, you are going to get a lot of looks.

Question for you or any car show guys. I'm putting the ZR1 in a car show nest weekend. I see a lot of pictures where you guys have your hood open, is that a must? I would just as soon keep the hood, rear hatch and doors shut

Not necessary, I popped the hood because the reflection of people walking past is kind of impressive. It's just like a mirror.

Check the rules of the show. Some require hoods/doors/hatch open while others require them closed.

Yes your car does look awesome and mirror like. Mine is VY so that mirror factor isn't there.

I will check the rules to see if that's in there. If not I'm keeping it shut up. Cotton is flying around here like crazy and I don't want the engine compartment full of that crap as well as dust etc.

Thanks for the info guys

There is a link at the bottom of the original post to my photobucket album of some of the better cars at the show, one in particular, a 70's C3 with a 4.1 litre Buick GN intercooled Turbo v-6. Toward the end of the slideshow. That is a 10 second machine! Awesome Vette!

Thanks, you don't see them too often. Only ones at this show!

I needed a new set of rims when I bought the car, I found them on here (forum) from a guy in Detroit. He wanted Gumbys on his car, he drove to Chicago to pick his up. These were on his car, I drove from Chicago to Detroit to get them. There was a lot of fuel wasted on that tranaction!
There is a set on the c-6 parts section for $400 right now! They are a bit dinged up but these are about $3k new!

You done good. They are sharp on that black. Saw the dinged up set. Although a good deal, I'm still circling like a land shark waiting for a good-condition used set to surface again.

Considering the original initial cost, and that they are forged wheels, those might be good candidates for a re chrome, and still be a good deal!
