are C6 driver stuck up?
Hi all i own a 2007 bought new with blacked our rims and the A&A system, and i have most C6 driver waive at me. This weekend we started driving my wife's 1981 C3 just out of the body shop black GM paint code of my car. Well let me tell you i feel like a low life NO c6 or c5 waive back at me I really think it's sad, also driving this car made me realise i am a Corvette guy, this 30 years old corvette is a real dinosaur but man i am loving it, it's a corvette!!! I taught we were all Corvette guys i guess i was mistaken. I live in Alberta Canada i am sure other parts of North America are different, but for now SHAME ON YOU C6 driver in Alberta.

I find the ones that mostly don't wave, or even look at me, are women Vette drivers. I don't think they get the the whole wave thing.

Crap, OLD topic.
People wave:
1) If they see you, and
2) If they are aware of that etiquette.
Enjoy your C3 and don't think we are "stuck up". I wave at all 'vettes, and other marques to boot.

I missed waving at a cool blue C3 today. It snuck up on me as I was fiddling with the radio at a stop light.
I felt bad afterwards, hope he doesn't start a thread like this.

Yes, all C6 drivers are a$$holes. j/k
I just wave at everyone in any Corvette and if I get a wave back that's great and if I don't that their loss not mine. Life's to short to take stuff like this personal.

Don't assume all non-waves are snubs. I always try to wave to all Vettes but sometimes too busy (listening to wife talk ) or preoccupied, or don't see the other Vette in traffic soon enough, or too old--too slow--too tired, ???. I have also waved at Vettes only to realize that I'm not driving mine so I'm sure they wondered why this old guy in a SUV waved at them. Enjoy your ride, wave when ever you can and be willing to cut others a break now and then and your Vette outings will be even more fun.

I too always wave at all Vettes regardless of model year.
But sometimes I just don't see them in time or only see them after they've passed.
Most women don't wave back but I wouldn't take a 'non-wave' personally or as a snub.
Enjoy your cars, you are already luckier than most.

... absolutely 9 out 10 times it's women vette driver that doesn't wave. I think they're afraid it might give the wrong impression so they keep their eyes glued straight ahead and pretend not to even see another vette......

I agree with Airbill2, sometimes vette drivers are preoccupied with something else or not paying attention. Personally, I don't really care if another vette driver doesn't wave back. I wave, fulfill my obligation, and if the other guy doesn't wave back at the time I am looking at him/her then I don't know if he waved nor do I care. He might have waved at a time I didn't see it. Who knows??? But the world keeps spinning and I'm drivin' a vette, yeah baby!!!
