In no order:
1 Better Brakes
2 Suspension Everything
3 Wider wheels for fatter rubber
4 Racing Compound tires
If I have to add a fifth then it would be rear end gearing so my 6th gear would finally be useful...
Why did I focus on these things? Because unlike engine mods, these things will actually help you keep going faster.

shania twain wow, definately make something go faster.
Window Tint hmmm I heard you go faster if you put like arp weiseco Edelbrock etc stickers on your fenders behind the front wheels. Interesting to learn that window tint works too as a speed option.
definately paint the calipers red.
maybe add a scoop to the roof
and definately spray window tint stuff on the clear front headlights - sure sign of speed!
chrome auto store brake gas and clutch pedals - absolute performance enhancement!
just fun'en there for a second I thought I was on the mazda or nissan forums

2) Akrapovic Evolution Exhaust with carbon fiber tips.
3) Xpel clear bra on key areas (entire hood, front end, fenders, rocker panels, mirrors and rear brake ducts).
4) RaceMesh in black chrome
5) Send it to Katech for a Street Attack package - Final one on the list to cross off.

1/ Remove underhood insulation ( done before 10 miles on odometer ).
2/ Remove Fuel Rail Covers ( these silly ugly things also removed with less than ten miles on the car ).
3/ Maybe upgrade tires next time.
That's all folks. I saved the parts though in case the next owner wants to both hide the engine and make it difficult to hear while it overheats under the insulating mat.
