Default Corvette LMR 1600hp Twin Turbo - 19/18" D2FORGED VS1

We had a few ideas on what to put on this Corvette. You know, it's sporting "only" 1600HP fron a twin-turbo Warhawk motor. That's right! It has 1600 rear wheel horsepower. Basically putting any sort of wheel on a setup like that wouldn't be smart? Right, so we opted for the D2Forged VS1 three piece forged wheels, that are more than capable of handling that sort of a car! The result? See for yourselves!

And yeah, check out this LMR at the Texas Mile - March 2011

Awesome setup and would make for a great Texas Mile Vette, with different tires for speed, but those wheels are very nice

That is almost the look of perfection. However, I would have done the rims in gloss black to match the black on the hood. Beautiful rims though.

Well theres a new spin on an old subject. Wheels look good now lets see how long it will stay together this time. It spun a bearing at the last Mile event. I bet RC is glad to be a spectator of this curse now

Great video! Now THATS how I like to start my Friday morning! Hell yeahhhh!!!!

That is just insane to think there are some cars out there with so much horsepower. The fastest car I came across was 1100 rwhp and while I was doing a gas-saving 160 mph, he dropped back to get in full boost and whipped passed me like I was holding up traffic at 80 mph. Sick sick sick..... When I see videos like this, I imagine Dr. Frankenstein turning about, lighting strikes behind, and he insanely shouts "IT'S ALIIIVE. It's aliiiiiiiive!!!!!"

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the post and the Camaro was so lucky that both ET Streets let go at the same time at the end of his mile run and the chute did its job on stopping him and 239.6 on street rubber is just awesome, I enjoyed seeing this live last March and same for the vids

Nice car...that's some serious power and straight line speed. Good job!

200+ mph with one hand on the steering wheel.
