Unless you own one or are a Vette enthusiast you would not know how practical they are, or can be.

The groceries, i dont mind (i place a towel underneath in case something leaks), but that bike...

NO WAY i would put a bike back there!

The vette is somewhat practical, maybe for a couple with no kids but thats about it lol...

When I think of a 2-seat, high performance Corvette "practical" doesn't exactly jump out at me. As guess its all relative.

I think you are confusing the term "practical" with "possible"....
Why it is POSSIBLE to lug around a lawn mower or tow a trailer, it's really not practical.

As a two-time vette owner, you won't find a bigger supporter than me. However, I am very adamant that a Corvette should not be your only vehicle for 90% of people.

Now if I was single, did not have kids, did not drive around work associates or clients, have to take long trips, and lived in San Diego, it might work out

j-sons vette is the most practical ive ever seen. Remember when we had to put sod in the back since my suv was broke down? Or the time we killed that deer, wrapped it up in a rug and put it in the back of ur vette? The blood washed out of the carpet pretty easily, good times.

Just a bike. People worry about these cars WAY too much. LOL. I would be worried about it hitting me in the head if I stopped too quick.

I come from a Corvette family. My dad bought a 1974 Stingray when he found out his first born (me) was on the way. He's also owned a '77 Stingray, '04 Coupe and currently owns a '07 Coupe. My mom has owned a '88 Coupe and '91 Convertible. Thats a total of 7 vettes in my family (if you include mine).

When I was a kid I rode around in the rear hatch area. I clearly remember it. Hell when I was in highschool, and used to drive my moms '88.. my little sister rode in the hatch area. And I was only 17 years old driving. (We've always been a responsible driving family, clean driving records and few accidents).

But all that is to say the hatch area, comfortable interior, great gas milage and modern day technology make the Corvette, especially the C6, a very practical daily driving car.

To get to work in LA traffic I require:
A car that is good on gas.
Accelerates and stops quickly.
Highly manuverable and good handling.
Small.
High quality.
Comfortable.
American.
What else would I drive?

A Chevy Cobolt & Chevy Corvette have one thing in common. Both get 29mpg give or take. I'd rather drive a Vette to tell you the truth..........

I put my surfboard in and wet suit (in a container) and take mine to the beach.

I love my grocery vetter, uh um, getter!

This is my second C6 and love it more and more all the time. And to think I almost got rid of it for a lambo....

I drove from Dallas to Austin in a C6 with me and a girl, 4 full scuba tanks, wet suits, BCs, regs the works PLUS luggage for me and a high maintenance ho for a weekend. PLUS I have also put my MTB in the back. But that was borrowing my friends vette. Can't wait to get my own! Now would I want to get in a wreck and have a scuba tank drilling a hole in my head? Dangerous yes but so is a lot of stuff I do.

Default Don't forget Mom!

My 90 year old mother prefers my Corvette to my 4x4 truck (too high), and her wheelchair fits in the back. Plus arriving at the senior home in style makes her the envy of the other seniors!

the customs girl that searched my car also made a similar comment about how much you can fit into this car - sorry no pics, don't think she would appreciate it - but she was definitely worth photographing
