How to start car after 6 weeks?
I kept the battery charged, but can I start it after 6 weeks normally? I'm worried about the oil draining down with no lubrication.
Thanks.
Thanks.

There's no more oil in the pan than there was an hour after you parked it.
Hit the start button.....

Pick the car up. Turn it over and shake vigorously three or four times, then start. (If you are unable to do this, just press the start button and release - the car will start all by itself)

I'm not saying that it is necessary, but if you want to turn the engine over for a while before it starts, just hold the gas pedal to the floor while pushing the start button. As long as the pedal is all the way down, the computer will NOT allow the car to start. As soon as you release the pedal, all returns to normal.

Actually you need to pop the hood. Find the zillerater carberater. Press the little red bulb 6-8 times until it's filled with fuel and then press the start button. Everything should run fine afterwards.

I think there should be a test before you can buy a Corvette.
Anyone can walk in off the street and buy a 11-12 second car capable of nearly 200 mph and not even know how to start it.
Something about this does not sound right and almost dangerous.

Remove the valve covers and oil the rocker arms. Next remove the spark plugs and squirt oil in all the cylinders. Now apply heat to the engine, a hairdryer will work. When satisfied that the engine is warm enough, push the start button and your engine should spring to live. OR, JUST PUSH THE START BUTTON!

I started my Z06 after sitting for 1 week and it sounded a bit harsh for about .25 seconds. Metal clacking for the first revolution or two. Way more than if it had just sat for a day or two. No harm done really, but now I turn it over a few seconds before cranking it. Just floor the gas when you crank it and it won't fire up until you release the accelerator.

Do not attempt to start the car! To alleviate your concerns you need to purchase an Accusump Oil Accumulator from Canton Racing Products. An Accusump will pre-oil...it delivers oil before starting to eliminate dry start scuffing of engine internals. When racing an Accusump discharges oil during low oil pressure surges to help protect the engine against oil starvation damage.
Personally, I think you'd be OK just to start the damn car but if you're really worried an Accusump does pre-oil.
