New Vette purchase/replacement/options
Hi all
Some of you may or may not know I totalled my 2011 GS. That is a thing if the past now. Faced with options of that I have to make instead of buying off the log makes it hard.
Mechanically I pretty sure with what I can live with, but Damn the color is hard.
I went with this.
Crystal red and ebony.
Flag stitched on the seats.
Dual mode exhaust.
Nav system. Only because I think it looks cool.
Chrome wheels.
Auto paddle shift
3LT package.
My decision isn't final. Did I miss anything? What about the color? Does it look like an old man's car? I only saw it on a convertible and they all look old man. Too me. );

Don't make an irrational decision that you will regret later. If you're uncomfortable about the color then don't buy it. It's going to be hard driving around in a car that you have to pay for and all the while having buyers remorse. There are plenty of cars out there. If your dealer doesn't have what your looking for, have him to put one on the locator. Usually they can have it there in a couple of days.

Lol, I'm having the dealer truck this car in over 300 miles. I'm having remorse already. Did I make the right color choice? I know color is abstract. There is no right or wrong. I'm sure I'll love it what about options? Did I choose ok? Also came with a GS indoor cover that I will sell. Did I miss anything that is a "must"?

Can't count the number of color changes I made in my mind before I finally ordered jetstream blue. Never owned a blue car before... I worried that I wouldn't like it, or that the color wouldn't "feel" right for me, or that it was dumb to order an extra-cost color that I wasn't absolutely certain about, or that I'd grow to dislike it and would eventually regret the decision...
Just jitters.
VERY happy with my decision. No regrets, wouldn't change a thing.

I don't think it's remorse... more likely just pre-delivery jitters. Very normal.

You nailed it on the head. I thought of Crystal Red a lot after I bought White, now I think about Torch Red and Blue. Can you say "Crazy"?

I settled for black when I bought my first vette even though I wanted blue. 6 months later I couldn't stand driving it and ended up trading it in for JSB. I will never settle again for second choice. Did you consider magnetic selective ride control? That is one option I decided not to get and now have regrets.
