Default Went to the Darkside

Got tired of cleaning chrome wheels, so I decided to switch it up a little.
You either love this combination or hate it.
Next step is to powdercoat the calipers....Red or Yellow
THe weather was pretty dreary today so the pic is a little dark.

I read the subject line and thought I was gonna see a Vette traded for a Mustang or something.
Those wheels really look nice with the black top.

Looks great. I'd keep the caliper color stock and hand paint the letters on the calipers black or AO.

The car looks great in the sunlight. Unfortunately not much of that around here right now.

Not lazy, just tired of cleaning chrome. I have a Road King all chromed out and spend enough time on that.

Like it, however I agree with others that caliper colors you mentioned will not look good in Red or Yellow. Perhaps black if you must paint with silver or white lettering. IMHO

Very nice. There is something about your car that seems familier, just can't seem to place it though........................

If you are going to get the calipers powder coated, I would suggest that you match your car's Orange color with Silver or Black letters. Yellow or Red would seem to clash with your particular color of car.

Going to do as others suggested and leave them alone.

I had my CCW's powder coated comp grey because I like the look. The less cleaning, easier upkeep was a free bonus.

Car looks good OP

Looks great! Armor All Wheel Protectant repels brake dust and road grime on my '05 quite effectively. Definitely simplifies life and helps maintaining the desired wheel sparkle.
