Jacakasses also post comments like this, even after 5+ people weighed in and said it was they would never do it again, or know somebody whos car is ruined by this mod.
Sure there is one guy, with a show car, who is probably a professional mechanic that can spend all the time he needs to adjust and tune them when they get out of whack, who likes his.
But be honest with the guy, 99% chance he will screw up his car, destroy his resale value, and regret it.

I think what might be more constructive (rather than attacking even more forum members) might be something like "Woke up hung over this morning, the coffee maker was broken, and the dog bit me on the way out the door. I'm sorry if I was over-zealous in posting my opinion".
The reason you keep getting bashed is you seem to believe your comments are justified. The more you defend, rather than correct, what appears to be a mistake, the more I agree with the other posters who are using stronger adjectives.
OP - I've found the Forum, the moderators, and almost all members to be positive, supportive and very helpful. I hope you are able to collect good information and make an informed decision!

Man, I'm disappointed. This thread went to three pages and only a few pics. A few good pics, but just a few. I'm an 80's product - Lambo doors were the **** back then. I won't make the mod because I'm too focused on the engine and interior. But, I LOVE to see 'em on other vettes.
As for the bashing, if I don't think it looks good, I just don't post - regardless of whether the op asked for an opinion. I'd rather support his/her decision than say their mod sucks. I'm happy for them trying.

We owned a C6 coupe with a Vertical Doors Inc kit. The previous owner had them installed because his 12 year old son thought they were cool. My wife liked it because it was novel. I hated them. They did not rattle, but they are very hard to pull down and close. They are great in a very tight parking spot, but they do not open very wide and are actually much harder to get in and out of. They also add a lot of weight to an otherwise light weight car. The final kicker for me is they have to trim about ¼” of the leading edge on the door skin so it will clear the fender when opening and closing. I would never again own a Corvette with vertical doors.

Ok, that looks real nice but I wouldn't want to live with it. Kinda like Christy Brinkley. You probably are hard to beat at a Limbo Party! I love the wheels also!

I would never do it,but think they look cool. I would never trash anyone's mod idea,to each his own.Our cars are an extension of who we are,who cares what others think,if it's what you like do it. When some body post's pics of their mods that I really don't care for I simply wont post to the thread. That said, I hate the black out treatment some do to their wheels and lights. Give me a black car with with chrome on it.

To the OP --- Check out the kit from Troy at DreamCarCustom. He is not a supporting vendor so I can't supply his website but will PM you the info.
From what I have seen and experienced from a friend of mine (who has this kit). He is not having any issues with his Lambo door kit from Troy... Good luck...
