Radio Bezel Fit? Please help
Hello. I am looking at changing out the radio bezel that is in my 2005 vette. I found one that is painted to match the exterior of my car but its from a 2007 convertible. I have looked at it several times but it looks just like mine but I just wanted to make sure, hopefully hear from someone who knows for sure or has dealt with much interior work. Thank you for your time and help with this.

All C6 center consoles are interchangeable
Only thing is your airbag light is on yours and wont be on the new one, and if you have selective ride there is a fix for that with new dial

Thank you for your quick replies. Mine has the tombstone look at the back of the bezel that is right in front of the console lid. The new bezel looks like it has the same piece but it is missing so would I be able to just install mine in the newly painted one? I know this is probably relatively easy but I just purchased the vehicle so I am not too familiar with it and I already have the mod bug.

heated seats or non heated seats doesnt matter.....the ashtray assembly unit will unmount from your current setup and bolt in to the new one. Always buy without the heated seats switch and ashtray if you have the option...it will save you over 100 bucks if you use what you have already.

If you don't care about the light for the passenger airbag then you will be fine. IF you have heated seats they buttons and ashtray unscrew from your exising one and screw into your new one. Your other option is to get your dipped with the faux carbon look, or get it painted.

Melting Slicks
A couple of weeks ago, I replaced the center console on my 2005 with a 2011 model
It fits perfect and the leather trim made the car 100% better. Only difference was no airbag light, I simply did not plug that in because there is no light on the later versions.

I think I read on the Forum that the airbag light solution is to just leave it plugged in and tuck it inside the new console.
Just the light, not the whole tombstone.
As far as the gage pods go, the easiest mod for them is to get color-matched overlays that you just place over the existing silver ones.
Several Forum Vendors sell these.
