Default HUD's UP

Pardon the pun.

I need to add Cudos to previous praise for Forum Vendod Steve Doten.
I am one of the fortunate C6 owners to have a HUD installed this weekend in Florida. We had a couple of glitches that would have had me screaming an cursing but Steve never flinched. He is the professional we would all like have work on our cars.

Thanks a million Steve!

I hope he goes back to Orlando soon. I intend to be there next time. Are you enjoying your new HUD?

Absolutly!

I didn't know what I was missing. The first real benefit I noticed was driving into the sun. I used to have to lift my sunglasses and look down at the instruments.

My wife drove the car today and called to tell me how much she likes it.

I had the HUD in my '02 vert. I didn't think I'd miss it when I traded for the new '08 coupe. I was wrong.

I'll second (and third) that! Steve did a great job this weekend and the HUD is amazing - professionally installed without a glitch. I'm psyched! Great Work!

Semper Fi,
Ron, thanks for the bug repellent, the bugs were killing me, of course any Devil Dog would have the 'standard' field supplies at all times, Official instrument button light testing also

John, First ZHZ Hertz Corvette in the world with HUD(speculating here), never realized all the unique items on the ZHZ(RARE GM spoke wheels, GM full width spoiler, NPP exhaust, ZHZ console lid/badging), I like it

Ron, Rob, and John, thanks for taking the time this past Friday/Saturday to stop by for the HUD install

Collins(Sanford area) had the most radical LS3/C6, full widebody, cammed/custom dry sump LS3 pushing over 540HP

Randy and son Eric also drove up from FT Myers in a JSB 2009 coupe for the 5th install of the weekend

Why would anyone not like HUD? After having it with the NAV info placed up there on a long trip. I was sold . Who says you have to stop for directions? Never had to take my eyes of the road to look at the map.

Steve how much is it to just purchase the parts from you, and are you going to make a trip to the Midwest (TX or OK)? If you plan on making a trip out here and want to set up something in Oklahoma and have everyone meet up at my house we can have a Corvette party with all the trimmings. I have a small shop out back with all the creature comforts of home. You could use this while you do all of your installs, and stay in one of the spare rooms in my house.
