Looking to purchase repro Z06 Spyder wheels for my C6 from WCC. I chatted with one gentleman who had to alter his calipers to make the front wheels fit. Anyone else had this or any other issues mounting these awesome wheels?

I was told Z06 wheels didn't fit a C6 and here you got both the wheels and the brakes to work

Of course OEM Z06 wheels will clear Z06 brakes. But OEM Z06 wheels/tires will stick out past the fenders of a base C6.
The biggest concern with offshore-manufactured, cast repro wheels is, are they true and can you balance them.
Fortunately you are dealing with a great Forum Vendor, WCC, and they are known for checking their wheels before shipping. And if you do have a problem, they will make it right.
And I agree, the Spyders are very cool.

I just put Factory Repro Z06 Spyders on my '05 coupe, gloss black with Velocity Yellow trim.

Perfect fit with no problems.
One thing you should always do when you change rims is install new TPMS seals when you change over the sensors. If you don't you could end up with air leaks at the sensor. They are about $5 - $6 per rim at the Chevy dealer. Good insurance against having to bust down the rims later to fix them.

If I remember they are actually on the wheel studs. I didn't really pay much attention to them when I removed my factory wheels until my O.Z. wheels wouldn't sit flush. I asked around and was told to remove these things. I did and the O.Z. wheels fit perfectly after.

The clips (2) hold the brake rotor on the studs, used on the assembly line when the car is built, when a brake job is done or rotors are removed, 99.9% the clips are thrown away. I just installed a set of Factory repro wheels and the backside of the wheel around the lug holes is already resessed, so the wheel will sit flush if the clips are still installed.

Their called Tinnerman nuts. And yes, they should be removed prior to installing aftermarket wheels.

I didn't have any issues with these on a customer's car. Black chrome Spyders with standard C6 offsets.
