Clear Bra
Damn the dirt road!! As suggested I am looking at Xpel clear bra. Anybody have experiences either good or bad? Does it peel off? I'd think not or they would be out of business.
Viewed up close is it noticable or as seemless as window tint?
Do the whole vehicle minus roof or just front and rear fenders?
Looks like a great option for my situation.
Any help is appreciated. I assume have it done professionally. I once tried tinting my own windows and what a mistake!
Thanks

A thread was done on this in the last 4-6 days.
I did 3M and was happy with it, done 4 years ago. Idid half of the hood too, while some see the line all the time, it's not that noticable. It's saved allot of dings on the hood. Wish I could have had the roof done, had some FOD skip acorss the top and left a deep scratch.
Besure you have someone do it with a good reputation/experience. I was lucky to find a guy who did it full time for dealers in the day, and privately at night. That = $1000. vs. $400. A good job still 4 years later.
Good luck.

Had the premium xpel installed last week, front fascia, half way up the hood and front fenders and the rear brake vents and up around the wheel fenders. Not cheap, but like the debate over was and sealants, the installer is key, like a good prep on the paint first. Yes, you can see it up close, never notice from far, but much preferable than rock chips and dings all over.

Got it installed on my Z06.
Love it. Got the entire hood, front end, mirrors, rockers and rear ducts done. You really have to look closely to notice the lines (doing the entire hood really makes it hard to notice).
It has been holding up great!

Happy with Xpel
I had an Xpel clear bra put on my 08 Black coupe, about a month ago. Had it done at the training facility in San Antonio, (by the trainer). Nice job. If you look closely, you can just make out the edges, but even on a black car, you hace to look closely. I have heard that it is a little more noticable on a white car. Haven't see that in person. I also bought the Xpel clear headlight/foglight protectors and easily installed them myself ($45 vs $135).
