Do the honorable thing and have it repaired for him to the best of your abilty. That way, in your heart, you've done the right thing. In his heart, he'll know you did the right thing.

Man, I really know how to push everyone's buttons. You guys are too easy and very predictable. It's just a car. I'll be sure not to tell any dark family secrets on a public forum in the future; I don't want this to come back and haunt me. My father is going to laugh at many of the responses when I show him this thread. I'll repaint his entire car if he wants me to but he'll just shrug and say "It's just a car".

Sorry to hear this, I really hate when I do things like that.

For all those who are pointing a finger (index that is) at you, they need to remember there are 3 of their fingers pointing back at them.

We all get in a hurry, routine, then forget the somewhat little things.
