I recently received a painted roof panel that was damaged during shipping. One of the corners received a one inch tri-angular crack From my inspection it appears to be a surface crack and I belive it can be repaired.

Since the corners seen to be the source of most damage, have any of you experience a similar situation? What was the solution and cost?

contact the seller and get your money back,tell let him put in a claim

Good advice above. Same thing happened to me years ago on my C5 and I had the seller take it back.

I bought 2 different tops from 2 different members and both came in damaged, returned the top to the seller and had them file the claim, you can not. If the seller files the claim the shipping company will want the top. Either the seller just gives you out of pocket money, your return the top and get your money back or pay for the repairs out of pocket. Been down this road twice.

Talked to UPS yesterday, stated they will pay the claim up to the declared value and allow me to keep the roof panel. I will take the roof panel to a paint & body shop on Friday for an estimate. Upon my examination, it can be repaired, I've looked two years for a panel and this is the first one I've found aand I'm not willing to give it up without a fight!
