"In honor of jpee"
it's good to hear an articulate, racer talk about, drive and recite the stats of the C6. Tommy Kendall.

Nice, but that guy looked stupid driving along with the top down and the driver's window up....and the tinting just makes it look even stupider
But he's right about how great it feels to be on a nice windy road in a Corvette with the top down!

Nice segment, a little too much touchy feely between the drivers, not enough of something, just can't put my finger on it. As previously stated, one long Corvette commercial.

Wouldn't it be fun to drive on that road course in a ZR1 or a Z06.
Those pro's make it look too easy. It looked like Jimmy Johnson was right at home driving that ZR1. I read somewhere that he owns a half dozen or so Corvettes from various years. What a life! All in all, the program had to make you smile if you own a Corvette regardless of what year it is.

Well, they largely ignored the Z06. Great exposure for the Grand Sport and ZR1 though. Great show.

Appreciate the heads up. Set up the DVR, but the wife didn't appreciate me pausing Grey's Anatomy in the middle of a crisis. Oh well, ya have to have your priorities, huh?

They have regular open track days with instruction if you are ever in the area.
Some C6 in car video here (T8 at 1:18 and 3:00) (David Farmer doing the driving is a very experienced/talented driver/instructor and the car appears to be a stock Z06)

I liked it!
Makes me want to run out and buy a ZR-1 (which I am sure one of the forum vendors will gladly sell me...)
Seriously, thanks to the forum vendors for selling their products and taking care of us.
