So far the Malibu is great. We got the 4 banger and with the six speed it is plenty. The car is "HONDA" like in about every way. Smooth, solid and handles great for what it is...I looked at everything but Volkswagon and Datsuns and the Chevy is right there...

The car stickered for 24880 and I was 19700 otd with rebates and supplier discount and my 1500 dollar private offer coupon..

With the crazy used car market I was better off buying new. 09's with 35k miles are going for 17k in some places.

2008 GMC Yukon Hybrid, 2008 Cadillac CTS, 2008 Corvette, 1969 Camaro. GMC is my DD. Bought the caddy for my wife but it is a very fun car to drive.

2003 Mazdaspeed Protege.

The Good: Four doors, light and tossable. Turbo fun. Great sound system. More fun at legal speeds than the C6.

The Bad: FWD. As bulletproof as swiss cheese. Makes the C6 look like the pinnacle of build quality.

Will probably be replaced with an S4 once the 2010 models start coming off lease.

Cant drive the C6 year round up here in Chicago unfortunately. I drive a 2008 Wrangler X Unlimited (4 door), and the wife has an '04 RAV4 that she likes. I still have not decided on whether or not to drop the insurance on the vette for the winter. I will save about $70/month if I do so, but even up here there is the occasional nice, sunny, DRY day in mid January!

The toys are the 2006 C6 Coupe and 2000 Mustang GT. The daily driver is a Mercury Sable.

Very Jekyll and Hyde but with the Sable I can take it places such as Wal*Mart if I must and not care if it gets door dinged.
