C6 Trailer Queens - lets see your pics!
I guess I just like trailer pics. This is my first C6, and trailered it home. I opted for the open trailer vs. enclosed box trailer because it is more fun to show what you're pulling. Anybody got trailer pics?

Out of curiosity, How did your Escalade do as a tow vehicle.. I am pondering a car up in Maryland,, I have towed my cars locally on a similar trailer with my Avalanche, Including my 65 Impala that's no lightweight, but not for long distance on the interstate.. I figure it would do just fine, but I am curious as to your experience. Which engine do you have if you dont mind.. I have the 5.3 flex fuel ..

This probably isn't what you had in-mind but I don't think I have any pictures of my car actually on the trailer. I'll be loading the car on the trailer tomorrow to go run at Inde Motorsports Ranch Friday morning...I'll try to get a shot of the car on the trailer and post back.

Best towing vehicle ever. We have an H2 which is short wheel base and too high. This EXT is low, long, powerful, comfortable, and wonderful. Avalanche should be similar. EXT engine is 6.2L V8. Installed a great trailer brake controller and you don't even know you're pulling anything.

6.2
I have a 2010 Sierra 1500 4X4 with the 6.2 VVT (403 HP) engine and the six speed auto. It tows great and it gets decent mpg. I towed my C6 this summer and got 14 mpg at 75 mph.

I usually trailer my Vette to SCCA Solo events since the racing tires pick-up so many pebbles and the tires also wear out very quickly if you drive the car with racing tires on the street to an event.
Here is my 2000 Z51 C5 ready to trailer it to the SCCA Solo Nationals in San Diego, CA
Here is my new 09 Z51 C6 ready to go to it's first local SCCA Solo event at AAA Speedway in Fontana, CA.
I use a 30ft Transport Toy Trailer with three axles and a GVWR of 15,000lbs. I put the rear ramp of the trailer about 14 inches off the ground with jack stands, then use 8.5ft long aluminum ramps and my Corvettes just drive right into the trailer. I have mounted adjustable strapping points onto the floor in the trailer and use J-hooks at the factory mounting points on the Corvettes. It drives and stops very well going down the freeway and have hauled it to SCCA Solo races as far as 450 miles away from my home in So. Calif.

If anyone is having issues with getting low ground clearance cars onto trialers, check out our Trailer Ramps.
They supplement the existing door or ramps on your tailer (can also be used with a dove tail) to reduce the angle of incline so the nose doesn't scrape. Also reduces the angle at fulcrum point where the ramps meet the bed of the trailer - so the underside of the car doesn't scrape.
They are strong yet very lightweight (about 18 lbs each). They are made with a 100% solid block construction. The material for which, and our ramps being used as example, is appearing on Modern Marvels - December 3rd at 9pm on the History Channel. (We are all excited about this)
Some people use boards to try to accomplish the same angle reduction objective. Which is very dangerous as they can shoot out like missles and/or drop the car. Race Ramps Trailer Ramps stay put.

Take fuel economy out of the picture.

I have two - unfortunately they're sad photo's, because the car was inop during this time. My slave cylinder failed on the highway, 2 hours from home, and had to have it brought back on my buddy's trailer. $2,000 later, she's running like a champ!
