I installed a NXT step stailess exhaust last week and just put a K&N intake on. The car sounds great at idle, and incredible when I get on it. The is a moderate level of interior drone at 1400-1500 rpm, it goes away at low rpm, 6th gear in city driving, and when I get over 1600 rpm. Any suggestions to knock down the interior drone?

Sounds sa-weeet! Congrats.
You can try something like Reflectix or another interior sound insulating kit - - that might lessen the drone, but probably won't eliminate it. I get a bit with my BB Route 66's but am not bothered by it -
I suppose the other option is "turn up the stereo!"
yeah- I know - -wize guy . . .sorry !

Should have got a NPP. The hatch area in the C6 is poorly insulated and the exhaust sits right underneath it. Even if you yank the carpet and DynaMat it, it will reduce it but NOT eliminate the drone.
If I have the NPP in the open position on the highway, I get a horrible drone. When I turn it off, it is as quiet as a Lexus, almost.
