What would you recommend for DD
What would you recommend for a daily driver other than another C6. I have a F-150 for work, but would like something nice to drive everyday rain or shine. (I know some drive their c6 that way, but I don't.) I want something towards the "luxury" side. What do you guys think?

Hard to beat the "luxury" my Silverado has. Its a 2009 LTZ, crew cab, nav, sunroof, 4x4, heated seats and rearseat DVD. I want a new 11' so I can get the A/C seats and it would be perfect.

I choose from 3 others for my DD, a '10 Mercedes C300 Sport 4-Matic, all options but Panorama Roof, great driving and trip car, and AWD, an '09 GMC Z71 4x4 Extended Cab with all the toys, great truck, very comfy and carlike, and an '11 Ford F250 Super Duty Diesel extended cab , leather with all the toys, surprisingly quiet and civil for an HD diesel pickup. Either of the 3 will work great for me, depending on the circumstances and the mood, lol.

You didn't really give us a lot to go on, but having said that, the car I am most surprised by right now is the Hyundai Sonata/Genesis. A long time friend of mine recently bought a top spec Sonata for under $28k, and I have to say it's remarkable. We rode around in it 2 weeks ago, and it's every bit as nice a ride as the most recent BMW and Benz I've been in. The Genesis sedan is even more upscale though more costly.
If you are looking at American Vehicles, I'd have a strong look at the CTS. Though I have been VERY impressed with the recent Buicks I've seen as well. Unlike 5-10 years ago, there really are a LOT of very nice options out there right now.

C4 of Year Finalist (appearance mods) 2019
You may consider it a step down ...... perhaps not ... but for much less money you can buy yourself a low milage late model C4 that is reliable enough to drive on a daily basis year round ..... and it's fairly luxurious.
This is a dead on reliable daily driver that goes six month a year in the rain ... (and frankly with no problem .... in up to 3" of snow). 50 miles a day and starts each and every time you turn the key.
For a lot less money you can afford to drive a vette every day of the week .... and I bet that you'd find that the sport seats in my 95 are actually more comfortable than those in your C6.
Sorry, you can't buy this one ... however you can buy one similar to it for $12 - $14K Its too bad they've never made a C6 in metalflake green

I have a Mercedes C230 Kompressor. Other then a bad battery when it was new, it hasn't seen the inside of the dealers service dept. Gets 20-21 around town and 29 on the highway, but requires premium.

But I was just in a used ('01) Lex IS250. For a used car, bought this year by my friend with maybe 30K miles on it, it was and is a steal. Not a car I'd like to go cross country in, but a great handling little car. I also like the older, pre-'07 GS Lex 430s.
