Torch Red all the way....on a sunny California day, that color just comes alive. See avatar...(that photo is just off the iPhone on a sunny CA day...no Photoshop color enhancement or anything). I didn't stage that photo, just came out of the hardware store on Sunday morning and thought....man that color is gorgeous...and I need a new iPhone desktop background!

Seriously, I have had red, black and white vettes, plus three other red sports cars. Black and red are commonplace. I agree they are beautifull, but my vy is stuning and eye catching. It knocked me over when I saw it particularly with the 15 spoke wheels.
Really, you can't go wrong with either choice but why always go with the crowd?

Here...some bigger photos taken in the hardware store parking lot Sunday with an iPhone....the sun brought the car color alive! And I personally really like the standard rims!

Majority of corvettes are either black, or red, or silver, with yellow or blue few in between. VY truly stands out as a color. However, if you don’t like the extra attention VY brings, you should go with red. Both are great colors.

You guys are making this harder and harder. I live in South Alabama and haven't been able to find a dealer anywhere near with VY, TR or CR. Do any of you know of any? I would prefer to find one with at least two of these colors. I have two computers and all three of these colors look different depending on what computer I'm on. This is one of the reasons that I am having such a hard time...

I've owned T.R. in the C5. That color would get my vote. But the V.Y. is very Bright as well. Flip a coin! if you are truely split on your decision.........

I think both colors are awesome!!!
I never planned on owning a Yellow "anything", but when I went shopping for my Z and looked at every color available, I was drawn to VY hard...no regrets!!!

I'm not sure I subscribe to the theory that yellow is more difficult to sell. I had a yellow 92 that sold in a week and I literally had 2 people wanting it at the same time. Got way more than market value for it. Had a yellow 02 vert that sold the next day after I listed it. Got a little over market value for it. Have a yellow GS now, and I like this shade of yellow the best of the 3 by far.

Torch Red, I doubt dust on one or the other is that big a difference get the one that looks best and that is of course Torch Red.

I really like the yellow Corvettes when they belong to someone else. Not my color, but they do really catch attention. If its your color, go for it.
Personally, I do not care about unique. I care about what I like even if it is the most popular and common. I got a Vicotry Red coupe this year. Love it. I could have gotten a killer deal on a 2008 yellow one, and passed on it because it was not what I wanted.
So, I voted for red.
