Pinnacle on Black Random Pics
Put a coat of Pinnacle Pure Carnuba on yesterday. This stuff is amazing. I have a coat of Rejex under the pinnacle, the rejex was applied over 2 months ago and still beads rain like it is 2 days old.

Again, not trying to disparage anyone, nor say that Zaino products aren't good. Because they are. But I'd take P21/S100, Nattys, Souveran, Wolfgang, CG 50/50, Supernatural, Swissvax, MaxWax, and even Zymol Concours given a choice.
There are lots and lots of great products out there. if you're happy with Zaino, stay with it. For those who want to be a bit more adventerous, grab a tin or jar of some of the other products and try them out.
The best black 911 I've ever seen was finished with P21 Courcours. It was Pebble Beach level, and done with a commonly available, and relatively inexpensive carnauba.

cracks me up about dust and black cars. I know where your coming from. Going around the black will get it dusty, just sitting in the garage will get dusty.

Agreed, how can anyone claim something is better than zaino. If another product has as good a shine, great, but better? No way. Plus, it lasts a long time.

in no way did i mean to. his car looks super.
i was just making a point about zaino on black thats all.
to me, we are all in this together, we all make choices, but we all have corvettes and share information as well as fellow ship. I have never argued with anyone on this forum or bashed anyone. I offer information on the things I happen to know about and I listen to information from others that they know about.
So if i offended the OP or anyone, I apologize.
I will mention one other thing though, that may save the OP some trouble, its my understanding that carnuba contains VOC solvents. This helps keep the wax pliable. This means that when you add an additional coat, it will remove the first coat.
Again, no offense please to anyone.

I rarely use a hard canauba because I prefer to do my wax by hand. I did do a hard canauba for a show car this spring with the buffer. It was less fun for me, but did a lovely job for the car. A 1972 Triumph TR6 with original paint. Worst under-quote I've ever done on a car. Ended up westsanding the entire car and bringing it back up from a 1500 grit sandpaper. UGH!
