Default Zoopseal'd the wheels today

Pretty much puts a teflon type coating on the wheels. Pretty good system I am happy with it, my roomate used it as well and has been very happy with it.

Seems like a worthwhile product for high polished UNCOATED aluminum wheels.... If your wheels are already clear coated to stop oxidation I don't see a lot of benefit?

Exactly. Zoop seal is intended for sealing bare polished aluminum. Your wheels appear chrome plated.

The are chrome plated although like I mentioned I went ahead and did the whole wheel in hopes that I can easily clean off the brake dust. My roomate has had it on his wheels for about 6-8 months now and loves it, makes clean up so much faster and you dont really get anything sticking to the rims.

Did you read the product description on the products page? It only says there that it is for aluminum. And if you read the way it works, that also indicates it was designed for bare metal. It won't harm brass or chrome but... And as far as the interior of your chrome wheels, that is clear coat paint in there. A coat or 2 or Rejex would do as well or better.

$100 for a product that protects bare aluminum when you have chrome plated wheels? But, hey, it's your money. If you're happy, we should be happy.

My roomate let me use his kit since he only used 1/4 of it so it was free, cant hurt ya know. Also the product description on their page says it is for chrome and aluminum, as I qouted above.

That's correct and it does a pretty decent job on what it's intended for.
