Default How to tell the difference...

I passed by a Honda dealership near my home tonight it was 6pm and they were closing, but had a 2007 Red C6 out front... The salesman told me to stop by tomorrow... they are asking $33,000 the car has 29,000 miles on it & tinted windows...

Its a 6M has NO Heads Up or Nav. no Z51.. how can I tell if its a 1LT or 2LT ?

The car is as clean as I have ever seen, but I honestly doubt I'll be trading my 05 (= to a 3LT)

What would be a fair price.. I don't think its a good idea for me to trade in my 05 for an 07 (both are LS2) but this car is DAMN clean ... I just don't know if its a 1LT or 2LT

It does not seem to have to buttons on the door for driver 1 or 2 for the settings of the seat etc...

I know for sure that 2lt will have side airbags but 1lt will not, but Jpee, why not trade up to an 08+ for the LS3 if you're gonna do it ? I mean, I'd stick with the LMB if I were you until I spot a nice clean 08+.

EDIT: Also how would you get away with the front tints in NY? In NJ they are all over your a$$ with that stuff.

Its that I just saw it, and wanted to see what kind of leverage I had, I am 99.9% sure I will NOT trade for that, as you said if I get anything it will have to be a an LS3....

The only thing I do not like about LS3 is I want an A6 to race, and to get the A6 to shift correctly you need a Tune by CoW or another Tuner... my A4 shifts nice and FIRM.. and its like a Rolex at the track.. will run the same # every time...

This one (the 07) is a 6M which I don't want for the reasons stated above, but it is one CLEAN car!!

I was thinking of making this a 2 Vette family as I love driving 6M on the street.. its a BLAST to down shift, and power shift up through the gears, but a 6M sucks if you are into "Serious" drag racing!

2LT will have perforated seats, 1LT will not.

Thank you both.... I'm not doing anything tomorrow so I'll take a ride over, & see if its a 1 or 2 and see where he will go price wise...

The first owner even put on a breaker switch on the neg. side of the battery so you just pull it open to disconnect the battery..

A nice touch if you plan on leaving it for a few weeks without driving it..

you have a nice vette, don't trade for another LS2. keep yours or trade for an 08 or newer when their prices drop.

yeah, from what I understand that a4 is pretty bulletproof. Must be a lot of fun.The A6 leaves a lot to be desired in manual mode, but in sport mode its pretty damn nice.

The 3lt includes all 1lt &2lt plus:

1 Audio system with in dash 6 disc CD changer & MP3 playback.
2 Bose premium sound 7 speaker system. Steering wheel radio controls.
3 Heads up.
4 Memory package.
5 Heated seats, driver and passenger.
6 Universal home remote.
7 Power telescoping steering wheel.
I bought a black 2007 6 speed coupe 3lt with the Z51 suspension this past summer for $31,000. It has 3,100 miles. Hope this helps

They are not bad at all, but if you already have had one, why not go for the next version?

saplumer:
Thank you for correcting my "heads up" error. Kinda like "vin number" "atm machine" etc.

1LT is pretty much a standard car, right? The 2LT will have 6 way power passenger seat with perforated leather and manual back angle adjustment, right? Plus a few more goodies?

IMHO the price is too high for this time of year. Search Autotrader and try to go 08 or newer

2lt has a power passenger seat with lumbar drive seat to. That and cargo net and cover are the diff between 1 lt and 2 lt. Seats are the same in 2 lt and 3 lt perforated leather. 1 lt's have smooth leather and only come in black.
