I just recently bought this 2005 C6 and I just had brand new tires put on. So needless to say this really blows...

Sucks.

Don't worry. Your insurance will take care of you. Call them and the cops.

You'll be back on the road as soon as you know it.

PS. Thanks for the wheels. jk.

OH CRAP! Sorry to see this - was there any other damage to the rocker panels, oil pan? I hope your insurance makes this up to you asap!

While your waiting for your new wheels/tires...clean those brakes up!

I'm sure they would have been upset if you violated their right to steal with a few .40 cal. rounds.

lol I'm gonna clean up the brake calibers today. I'm def painting them as well. It's just annoying more than anything, it's sad someone needed to steal these wheels. They had a few scuffs on them also, so it'll be nice to have a fresh set.

I just wanted to drive her today!!! AARRRGGGHHHHH

This weekend is supposed to be extremely nice here in New England. I need this all taken care of no later than Friday!!

Sorry about your loss and hope it's resolved quickly.
I suppose they did not use jacking pucks which makes me think that the cinder block has cracked your rocker panels. Make sure that the insurance adjuster sees that as well as any possible damage to your rotors.

You must have said your prayers last night.

"Thank you lord for my Vette and those new tires... now someday I'd love to have some new wheels to go with them".

No matter how negative, there's always an upside!

So what kind of wheels are ya thinkin about?

sucks....but my worry is how did they lift the car??? hopefully didn't damage anything underneath the car (floor pan/oil pan/rockers...ect) but get the insurance to give you $$ for stock wheels (gm prices)and you will be able to buy some sweet aftermarket wheels with that much $....look at it as your first mod.....sorry for your bad luck....

That's terrible! I hope that there wasn't any major damage to the rockers, or anywhere on the underside of the car. Good luck with the repairs and replacement, you'll be driving it again soon with a big smile.

Yikes! That just makes ya sick to your stomach. And I bet no one saw or heard anything. Hope there is no other serious damages done to the car.
Good Luck.

Sorry about the wheels...that blows! Whether its someone who de-mods his car to get a free warranty repair or someone who steals wheels in the middle of the night...thieves suck! I know stuff like this can happen anywhere but I'd try to do whatever I could to secure the car going forward. If you can't get the car into private garage you might want to look into lockable lug nuts. I've heard they still can be defeated but it might deter the (less than) average low-life thief! Good luck.
