Default GM Leather Console Lid - Feedback wanted

Hey folks,

I am considering buying the GM leather console lid for my cashmere interior.

I know there are other more-expensive options available but I'm looking for feedback on the GM product.

Is it worth the c-note they go for? Anyone have any pictures they can post?

Thanks in advance.

I'd buy the DSVETTES one (actually,I did! ) .Much better quality then anything GM puts out including ALL THAT 4 LT STUFF!

Like I said, I know there are more expensive options available, but the DSVettes lid is almost three times the price of the GM item (for the embroided logo version).

I'm just looking for something that's better than the plastic lid without breaking the bank.

I bought one off ebay which is the a leather cover thats fits over existing lid. 10 minute installation. Fits like a glove. Got it with embroidered cross flags and Covetter letters in Silver to match floor mats. Yes cost was only $59.95 plus shipping.

I have the GM Console Lid, it is black with the Corvette Logo. It is slightly thicker than the standard one and much better looking. About a 10 minute install. Certainly not as thick as some of the others but for the money I am happy with it.

I put the GM lid on my 2007. I'm satisfied with it. Looks better then the stock one and it matches perfect. All the others that I have seen on cars do not look right to me. Just my 2 cents worth.

I put the ebony GM lid in my '08 almost 2 years ago. It matches the seats and the subdued Corvette logo looks better than the too bright versions that most manufacturers use.

I purchased a GM titanium leather console lid from Gene and it looks great. It is a perfect match to the leather seats and looks like it came with the car. The padding is pretty thin, but it is adequate. It also has the Corvette flag on the cover. I think that it cost me $113 including shipping.

Only concern / complaint: if it sits in the sun the leather stretches but it comes back after it cools off

Now stop this. You're going to make me have to spend more.

I just got the Vette this week.

I hate the hard console top.......

Anyone have picture of a titanium in a 2tone Ebony/Titanium interior?

Cobalt Red with my cobalt red tu-tone interior looks awesome! I get so many compliments on that interior and it's just a console cover that makes it pop!

Well, I've had all 3; stock, GM leather console, and DS Vettes console. You get what you pay for, except for the stock console, it just plain sucks. GM leather isn't bad, softer feeling and looks 100% better than stock. DS Vettes is incredibly soft, tons more padding, and looks 100% better than either stock or GM leather console. But again, you get what you pay for.

Perfectly stated. Although the well-padded DSV version is more expensive than the GM one, it gives much more in return. I went with DSV knowing that I'll continue to enjoy its benefits LONG after I forget that I paid more for it.
