As far as I know the auto produces the same 436 h.p.as the manual does . It's the Camaro that has less h.p. in the auto than in the manual.
Actually, we were both wrong. I was pretty sure that the stock LS3 (base, GS, etc) list the HP at 430. I double checked with the GM specs and I was right - it's 430. But when you ADD the NPP Dual-Mode Exhaust, that's what gives it the extra 6 HP boost (see page 12 of the 2010 Corvette sales brochure).

You claimed the stick produced more horsepower than the auto. I said they were the same so how were we both wrong? Since you used the 436 h.p. figure that is on what I based my statement. the 6 h.p. difference is caused by the exhaust not the transmission.

It's a well known secret that the manual trans GS with the hand built LS3 has more hp than the regular LS3!
