When I first bought the '82 (200 horsepower), she was saying "SLOW THIS THING DOWN!"

Now, we have the '10 Grand Sport and she's sayin' "GO, BABY, GO!!!!"

To me, that means she likes MORE power! Music to my ears!!!

I wonder how many california folks will be in for a surprise when their 'wives' tell them no to certain things. Life is better single when it comes to modding.

In my many years, I have learned that I have the following faults(according to my wife):
1. Everything I think
2. Everything I do
3. Everything I say
4. The only decisions I make are wrong ones.
With the above parameters, I can do nothing or mod and still be wrong so, I can do anything being prepared for the wrath.

No kidding - when I told her I just spent $1,000 on valve covers she said, "Well, that's not gonna complete the look ! The intake needs to be the same color or it's just not gonna look right dummy !" She then handed me the laptop so I could order the intake !

I sooooo Love her !

I consider myself very fortunate. When we bought the vette she took a real interest in the list of mods and my thoughts on the final proJect. Came home Saturday and while I was gone wifey picked out the exhaust, rims and tires, chrome accent bits, etc. May need to bring a pick up to Carlisle next weekend if I get it all.

I've upgraded my wife more than I've upgraded the vette. Maybe I'm doing it wrong...

I have messed with cars, motorcycles and several other hobbies all my life; buying, selling, modifying and generally consuming disposable income in a very delightful fashion. Along the way, fortunately, I have been able to provide for my wife in a comparable fashion and so....no real complaints at all as she seems to accept my interests as a part of who I am. I am VERY lucky in that regard!!
