C6 Wrecked on I65 (Bowling Green)
I'm on the road headed back from BG KY.
On my way out this morning on I65 N just before the NCM exit we saw a JSB C6 over the other side of a guard rail totally wiped out. Couldn't tell if it was a coupe or roadster. If it was a coupe the roof was ripped right off. The car was very mangled in a way that there could have been serious fatalities.
Has anyone heard anything on this accident?
I seriously hope the occupants survived.

A two vehicle accident on I-65 North leaves a couple injured.
The accident happened earlier this morning near mile marker 23.
According to Kentucky State Police, a tractor trailer truck switched lanes on the interstate, hitting a Corvette causing the car to flip over and land on its tires.
"The traffic investigation is still ongoing like I said it looks like the tracker trailer just didn't see the Corvette when he was changing lanes and made contact with them causing them to spin out," said Trooper Erik Salman.
The couple in the Corvette was from Tyler, Texas.
The driver was airlifted to Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville where he is listed in critical but stable condition.
His passenger was taken to the Medical Center here in Bowling Green for treatment of injuries.

That's why I never get in an 18 wheeler's shadow. Prayers to both occupants.

"In honor of jpee"
looks more like a GS convertible to me, but I'm guessing. regardless, the car did its job of saving the lives. critical condition is better than dead. looks like a very new car.

Unfortunately this type of accident happens all the time. Just have to be careful and try not to hang in the blind spots of those 18 wheelers.

Thanks for posting up this info. I saw the tractor trailer with it's flashers on sitting by the side of the road. I thought it probably was involved in some way.
Glad to hear the occupants are OK.
