Max Jax Car lift
So here is a picture of the lift I got a month ago. Workd great in an average garage. It lifts the car within 6 inchs of the door opener. The car is 48" off the ground so you can sit on a roling chair to work under the car.

Yep, I’ve got the Max Jax first on my list as soon as I finish my new garage addition currently in progress.
I like the portability of the unit, mainly because I don’t want a lift mounted permanently in my way for the few times I use it and the $2k is a very attractive price.
I’ll bet the initial assembly is a bit more involved than they show on the demo video though isn’t it?

I missed the introductory offer at $1600 when it first came out. However it is still on my short list.

Got mine just after the initial offering. Have used it so many times, it has paid for itself in reduced frustration already! I even use it to lift the lawnmower to change oil and blade...

I just got mine a couple of days ago. I got it for the $1999 shipped! Haven't had time to unpack it yet.
I think I am going to cut out a 2' x 2' square in the garage floor and pour 8-9 inches of concrete to reinforce the floor where I am going to mount my lift post. I fear that the 4'" or so of my garage floor may not be strong enough.
I got mine from gesusa.com
