Maybe his name was Doug Nash and then it would have been his 6 speed!

Ask him for documentation proving it's a 2005 ZR1 special edition...see if he'll send a photo of the glovebox 'build' information. I'd be interested to see what the seller says. IMO either he's an idiot or a con artist. I think providing fake financial information was overkill but maybe it'll impress the seller. Let us know what the seller says.

I think the guy has his terminology mixed up - I think he means Z51 based on the rotors.
As for the Doug Nash tranny....you are on your own there.
Maybe he was the one that was misled when he bought it?

Wow, you guys can be so critical of things sometimes.
What if: the person that placed the ad was trying to sell a car owned by a loved one that had died! And, the person selling the car knows nothing about cars but somebody told them about some numbers normally associated with Corvettes and they just got the numbers wrong!? There are dozens of explanations of why this ad is incorrect, other than someone trying to rip people off! Maybe those of you that replied have helped that someone correct this ad....not all things are as they appear!! Oh, and no, that is not my ad and I do not know anything about the car or the ad other than reading it....

Market value price?
For that zip code and with low miles and options, that car is worth $32,390 in excellent condition. A bit over priced for what it probably is IMO.

Your right, what if the guy has a medical brain problem and it is affecting his logic after being distraught after losing his whole family in a tragic fire that was set by his crippled grandmother as she was trying to stop the newborn baby not put her hand in the fireplace..................or better yet, what if the guy is a scammer or just a plain no brain goofball that needs to know he has nothing but a Z51 Corvette.
