Blank NAV screen?
Twice now in the past 3 days I've started up the car only to have music playing, but the NAV screen was completely black/blank? Shut the car off and start it back up and it works again. Anyone seen this before? I searched and found only one thread from 2005 with the same issue but it didn't provide much info.

Burning Brakes
...happened to mine twice over a couple year period. I have had the TSB done performed and no issues since. Given how rarely it occurred before the fix, I do not know if the problem is actually resolved but GM does have a means of addressing the issue. So far I am pleased with the update.

The fix does work: It hasn't reoccured since I had mine done. It takes about 10 minutes.
The problem is some sort of conflict that occurs when the NAV boots up and communicates with the data system.
