Good Bye 2006 and CF
I finally sold my '06 Victory Red Coupe to my son (age 27) recently. Not as sad a deal as otherwise could have been...I get to see it all the time and ride once in a while! I'm just so doggone proud that I've somehow managed to pass along to him a love of Corvettes! (He's been talking about needing a Z06 someday already! lol)
I haven't been on CF lately at all... but used to frequent this forum regularly. Learned a lot over the years from many of you and also got great hook ups on certain mods and other helpful C-6 info that enhanced my ownership pleasure. Even met a few members in person!
Mine was a great car...never any regrets nor major issues. Still love seeing one go down the rode as much as ever! May be back into one someday...
So long CF! Thanks for the ride!

Nice that you could pass the Corvette on to your Son. Are you going to purchase another "Toy" or just cool it for now. Whatever you decide best of luck to you.

Thank You!
I went without for a few months and finally got me something fast again! lol Not a Corvette, but another intriguing-to-me, American-made muscle car. Of course, I have always loved Vettes, and they will always be my dream car. Funny, but my wife made a comment that I seemed more like a _____ kind of guy rather than a Vette guy!! (??) I thought with my white hair and being in my late 50's I fit the image quite well, actually! LOL (At least more than a muscle car type, which is the same make as what I came to my Vette in). Oh well!!
I really did learn much here and gained great insight into Vettes here over the past 4 years. For that I am grateful. Been fun to pass some of that knowledge along to Son since he's more than likely not going to read as much as I have about the car! btw/I have an entire bookshelf of Corvette hardcover books!

Hope to see you back and good luck. Guess you're son will be taking your place here.
