Yes. I went cut the duct method. Trust me it sounds complicated and kind of scary but its real easy. I used a small hacksaw and did it. Once completed I assembled the air duct back with superglue and guerilla tape. Once you put the gauge cluster back on; you cant even see the cut. If you guys are wanting to do this mod and is hesitant, PM me and I will give you my number and I can walk you through it. That helped me a lot when someone told me what to do .

I've heard horror stories from some folks that tear the entire dash apart and have "creaks and other noises" after completing. I think the cut the duct method may be the best way to cut down on all those hidden noises. When I did mine I wish I'd of done that. When I helped other people do theirs I highly recommended they do that but they never do.
Either way... Looks good. I hope you enjoy it. Now we have to figure out how to change the colours on these HUD's. Have red for track modes and green for street

I don't have the HUD. Is the reflection really that small and hard to read?

Safety Car
Welcome to the fold.
As an update, I'm at 43k miles now (just over 20k post HUD install). I completely removed the dash from my car. My car certainly has tons of rattles over rough roads but EVERY single rattle is coming from somewhere other than the dash. (Door panels, sails panels, and center console primarily and the center console is the only thing that has been touched). I figure when it gets too bad I will slowly start insulting everything one by and one and maybe even upgrading to some better leather/CF parts.

Mine came from the factory installed - but it's ever so slightly crooked. Is there a way to adjust the horizontal tilt without pulling the dash apart?
Thanks,
Mark
