Lexan top headliner opinions please
If you have one, do you like it? Does it fit well?
My car only came with a Lexan top and it's an oven here in Texas on a sunny summer day.
Thanks for any comments.

TX here, I love mine, fit is good, insulation is great, put on/off is very easy, you can not tell that is on from the outside, at night just take it off and lay it in the back of the car.

When I ordered my 08, I only ordered the Lexan top and then I got bought the two piece topliner since it came with a storage bag. I have left it on most of the time and I like it quite well. After my car sits for a while, one of the suction cups may come loose and I just re-attach the top. Seems to make the AC much more efficient. I like this better than dealing with two tops.

I used the transparent top with the DS Vettes liner and also the painted top. In AZ in the summer there is not substitute for the painted top. It is much more comfortable.
Save yourself some money and just buy a painted top in the first place. You can find them on eBay and also here on the forum. This will also extend the life of your transparent top. They tend to "craze" (very small cracks) after exposure to very hot sunlight.

I have the insulated 2 piece suction cup headliner as well. Living in Michigan I have only used it a few times. I like the fact that it fits in the storage sleeve provided and lays flat in the back when not in use.

I have the DSV suction cup version and a static cling type Mid America version. I have used both only a time or two each in North Carolina. They both work, but I just don't bother, as I have both tops also.

I tried the static cling but didn't have much luck with it and I sent it back. It had bubbles, didn't fit right, would start to come down in the corners, wasn't easy to put on and off, and it wasn't insulated.
The insulated suction cup one works great but as mentioned, I don't use it a lot.
