There have been threads here before about this....do a search for "heavy wheels" or "weight of wheels" and see if you can get those threads to come up for you....good luck in your search for wheels!

Sorry, but I disagree.........the weight of your wheels most definitely affects your ride quality -- even affects your MPG (heavier wheels will lower your mileage). Look up the terms rotational intertia (or resistance) and unsprung weight.......hang a 4 or 5 pound heavier wheel on the end of each A arm and you will definitely notice slower acceleration off the line and a change in the ride quality!!

When he states that he wants something that won't hurt "ride comfort", I think that he meant ride comfort.....go over some good potholes or railroad tracks with 5 more pounds at each corner for your suspension to damp and you will surely see what I mean.....I did not mean any disrespect by offering a different opinion on your first post....its all good!

I'll just add that the wheels can also contribute to ride quality indirectly. Larger diameter wheels require lower profile tires that can make the ride harsher. 20"+ on the fronts for example. Everything else being equal.
Personally I like CCW's, great price, appearance and customer service.

The first thing I want to do is get some nice wheels for my c6 , I want something that won't sacrifice ride quality but also looks good on the car. I was thinking 360 forged, modular concept, or HRE. I would appreciate it if you guys can help me out on this.
Thanks
Thanks

Many Forgeline stlyes are very nice on your C6 if you're looking for a true custom 3-piece forged wheel with unlimited style and color upgrades. Check out their website at www.forgeline.com and PM me if you need a price with or without tires. Stick with stock widths, diameters, and offsets, and ride quality will not suffer.
