Default TSW Nurburgring wheels installed - Pics

I decided to take advantage of the package deals on the new TSW Nurburgring wheels from The Speed Depot. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-p...-specific.html

Alex from The Speed Depot was great to deal with, promptly answering all of my many questions and shipping everything out exactly when promised. I ordered the wheels and tires on Monday, they shipped out on Tuesday and I had them on Friday. Everything arrived well packed and exactly as described.

The quality and fit and finish of the wheels is outstanding.

I went with the following package:

TSW Nurburgring Matte Gun Metal - 18/19
Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110
245/40/18 - Front
285/35/19 - Rear
TPMS sensors
set of lug nuts

I weighed my stock split spokes with the F1 runflats and the new wheels tires and came up with the following weights.

Split spoke with F1
Front 53 lbs
Rear 57 lbs

TSW with Hankook
Front 46 lbs
Rear 49 lbs

According to the specs on The Tire Rack, the front Hankook's are 4 lbs lighter than the F1's and the rear Hankook's are 6 lbs lighter than the F1's. If my math is right, that means the Front TSW's are 1 lbs lighter than the split spokes and the Rear TSW's are 4 lbs lighter than the split spokes.

I purchased a TPMS tool from Tire Rack since I plan on keeping my stock set up for the winter and it will make the swap a lot easier. Not that I am going to drive in the snow, but I do drive the car all year and the stock all season runflats do have decent traction in freezing temps.

After I got them installed, I dodged some thunderstorms to take some pics and see how they rode. The ride definitely seems a lot better than the runflats.

Thanks again Alex!

I took a lot of pics, which can be found here: http://fdemartino.smugmug.com/Cars/T...98142212_7NGZL

Here some random ones.

Frank, those wheels look awesome especially with the blue calipers! I can't wait to see in person. Did they balance okay?

Yeah, they seem great. Not a lot of weights were on there either.

looks great but there is way to much wheel gap. Can you lower it a bit it would look even better?

The gap doesn't bother me as much as scraping on everything like I did in my old lowered C5.

Very nice looking wheel and I love the color. I have CCW wheels in Comp grey and I like the gun metal better than the C.G. Couldnt you go with the same wheel that would mount a wider than stock tire?
