Default New Vette owner -08 JSB Coupe

Hey everyone, how's it going? Just introducing myself to the forum.. I recently bought my first 'vette about 2 weeks ago and am loving it to death! I also have an 03 Mustang GT that was my pride and joy up until my funds allowed for the vette. Needless to say, the 'stang is now for sale lol... I've been eyeing C6 Corvette's for a while now and narrowed down my options to the 08's and up mainly for the LS3 and JSB... anyways, I just wanted to say hey. I'm sure there's a lot that I can learn from this forum (actually already have from the FAQ's sticky lol).. I look forward to talking with everyone on here...

A few pics of the car

Here's a couple of the GT, I guess you could consider my past life lol

Welcome to the Forum. Great pics of your new ride; you'll fit in well around here. Now you need to post a thread about what floormats to buy for your C6, then you'll be a full-fledged member.

Welcome! So let's hear about your Vette, I can tell from the brakes it's probably a Z51, or F55, is it manual, or auto, a 1, 2, 3, 4LT?, dual mode exhaust?

Welcome. The corvette C6 is truly an awesome car. Your Mustang looks really good as well. I'm sorry you need to get rid of it. A few mods and the Vette will be smokin hot. Have fun.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome! A little background on the car: Being it's my DD, I wanted an auto. Also I thought the paddle shift feature was pretty cool lol.. It has the Z51 package which was a main option I wanted. As for the interior its only the 1LT. I'm more of a person to start with less and then customize it to my liking, much with what I did with the Mustang. Having said that, the NPP exhaust and 2LT-4LT interiors wouldn't have done much for me being I would've changed much of it anyways lol.. My plans for the car include full exhaust to start. From there I'd like to do some minor apperance mods such as smoking the corner lights and the taillights, tinting the windows, and maybe a ZR1 style rear spoiler. I also want some meatier tires for the rear as I had 315's on the back of my Mustang and love the look of wide rears on a sports car. From there I'd probably consider doing more performance mods, i.e. intake, and deciding to go cam'd or FI. More than likely cam'd b/c cam'd V8's = OMG haha
