Default Finally pics from some mods

Some of you were able to help over the winter when I needed some help with various audio mods with the car. Here is a few pics for comment. So far I have installed a blackout kit, window tint, vibration dapener, sound matting, and new speakers all around. ENJOY

Pretty big project you have there! What is the sound damping material that you are using? Would you recommend it to the rest of us to quite the cabin from exhaust drone?

I went with second skin for all of the dapening and sound matting. Nothing but good things to say about. The cabin is much quiter and cools down much quicker and gets cold!

Kind of over-kill on the rear sub box, don't you think? Probably sounds good though.

I can see why he needs a vibration dampening kit

No more trunk!

OK, so you deadened the drone...only to blast the top of your head off with the sound system....sure sounds like I am showing my age!

Nice job. (I think!)

Wow. Is that really the calculated air space for those subs? That box is huge!

I take it you did not want the "stealth" look for your audio.

Nice clean job, I bet those subs really pound.

Maybe you should have bought an SUV instead of a sports car.

actually the box is slightly smaller that what the subs recommend. I never really hauled anything other than maybe a pair of golf clubs. one down fall of the system is that I cannot store the top in the back anymore. I changed design of the box about 4 times to try and keep the top, but no luck. I never drive it with a chance of rain anyway so that was a minor downfall. Many of my friends said that it is by far the loudest system they have ever heard in a car. I also love the fact that there is no distortion, clearest subs I have heard in my life. But for a 19 yo at the time im pretty proud of my work.!

I have a feeling that this will come out once you hit college and girls think of your car as annoying rather than being a sweet ride....

I commend your work but, wrong car IMO..

a small 10in sub is about it..
