Hmmm.... not bad. I really can't decide. I'd like to see some photos of it out of the garage... on the street maybe with some other cars.
Right now my eyes are drawn to the stripes. I'm not sure you want that to be the thing you notice.

I think the dark hash marks on the yellow draw to much attention to the stripes and not the car. Those hash marks are really pronounced. Sorry, but you ask for opinions.

I think the car looks like a bumble bee now. It takes all the attention away from the rest of the car so when someone see this car they stair at the stripes and nothing else.

I think it looks very tough ( then again I have the same hash marks on my JSB). I see the theme you're going with but I do prefer the silver/dark grey stripes on the yellow myself.
**maybe some black wheels would tie it all together better. Then again it would be cheaper to just change the stripe color to a silver w/ black outline.

Thanks for all your comments, guys. I'm gonna leave them on for a week or so and make the decision then.

[QUOTE=bapd77;1574190467]I went ahead and installed the other side. I figured I'd go with them for a while and if I get sick of them or decide they're not for me, I can always take them off!

On your Vette I think they look very good. Leave them on a while as you quoted. I think they'll grow on you if you are unsure about them now.

I have a GS vert; cyber gray, with silver hash marks on both sides and would not think twice about removing them. I really like the look, and get plenty compliments on how they look on my car. I say keep your stripes,,,both sides dude...

I like the color combination a lot.
But the C6-style of vinyl hash marks never did anything for me.
I don't like the gaps between the hash marks & the hood, and between the hash marks and the lip of the fender.
They just look like cheap after-thoughts to me.

I think they look good, but seem short. The black ties in very nicely with the black tires, and black trim around the windows and doors.

Funny, I like that the best. The ones that go from the hood all the way down the the wheel well look like some pep boys decal set. JMHO

I would leave them on but they need the black headlights to bring the black in? just my opinion...I know the head lights are like 500.00 a piece...but it would be sweet....

I think that your car is beautifully awesome, but that the hash marks do not add to it.
That said, my personal bias is anti 'rookie stripes' unless you are (1) on the track and (2) a rookie driver, the original meaning of the stripes. But I'm old school.
In the future we all may view these stripes the way we now look at old school muscle car bumblebee stripes or similar.

Your up close pics might make them look a little overwhelming, but I think from 10 feet away or farther they are going to look great on that color.
