2008 GM Certified A6 3LT Z51 Nav 8K miles Vel Yel Coupe 34,500 in AZ Dec '09
Best deal I've ever had for a car, would love to spring into a GS but will have to wait a couple of yrs for the depreciation to spring into place.

Thats right. The deal took me 3 days and some sweet talking. I think since it was Oct and they didnt want it on their lot all winter thats why I was able to get a deal. Good thing it was deal or "the wife" wasnt going to let me have my fun..HAHA

I May Have One Of The Best Deals
In October 2009 I purchased a 2008 4LT, F55, NPP, NAV, Chrome Wheels, Dual Tops, Bose Stereo, and A6 w/ paddle shifters for $40,500 out the door. The car had 4,315 miles! Black with black/sienna interior. Basically the only two things not on the car are the M6 and Z51.

I purchased my 08 for true employee price. I worked for a GM company at the time. really good deal and no add on costs. (Also ordered the car just the way I wanted it.)

I purchased my 08 1lt A6 brand new for $42K out the door. I got it at $1000 below invoice with a $1500 factory rebate. You're correct; everything is expensive here in CA

Took delivery of custom ordered 2007 Coupe with 3LT, Manual, Z51, Transparent Roof, in July 2006.
Car was manufactured during the first couple weeks of the MY 2007 production.
MSRP $52,385
Paid $47,000 (which was somewhere near invoice price) This was the GM friends and family discount price at the time.
So, I got to drive the car for 6 months before 2007 even arrived, which is when it began depreciating (on paper).

I bought my 2006 Victory Red 1LT with 18k miles on it, only mods that I can tell are tinted windows, chrome Z06 replica wheels and the little Corvette sign that hangs down by the exhaust. Bought it last Sept for $28k, but probably could have gotten it for a little less if it were in CONUS and not Hawaii.

this is a great thread for researching car prices - making deals etc.--I wish I went on this site before I bought my car, I probably could've done better on the negotiations.

Two weeks ago I bought my 2010 GSVert, 3LT, NPP, A6, NAV, Chrome rims. MSRP was 72k and I gave them a price if 62k (includes 4k worth of incentives) + 30k trade for my 08 1LT coupe. They came back with 63k + 30k, so I said thanks but give me call if you change your mind and walked.
As I'm driving off the lot the salesman and the "General Manager" literally stand in front of my car and say "Lets make this deal". A little on the corny/dramatic side, but I left with the GS for a price I thought was good.
