What a waste of a ZR1!

First of all, I hope nobody was hurt or killed in the accident.
Secondly, it's funny how when people (even Corvette owners apparently) see a wrecked sports car, they immediately assume it must have been the driver's fault. Got any details along with that photo?

It is for sale on Copart it is at $20,100 and the auction is on May 19, 2010. Car is located in Dallas, Texas doesn't appear to be flood damage usually the listing will say flood damage this one just says "all over" That can't be good!

Weird that the airbags did not go off with this much damage to the car...and it does look like flood damage, with all of the mud and dirt impacted into all areas of the car........too bad to see a ZR1 come to this sad end....

Looks like it was in "the big one" at Talladega dang man. I agree though wiht a few, looks like it was maybe in a flood or something, only way to explain all that mud on the inside.

I doubt flood damage would cause the wheels to break.
This car looks like it was rolled during a rain storm and went off road thru some mud.

Totally disagree. This looks like a very high speed corner (I'm guessing over 80-90 mph) gone wrong in very wet weather with a loss of control and multiple rollover in the mud. The front and back ends may not have hit squarely enough to pop the airbags. I'm having a very hard time seeing how you can say the car wasn't even running when it happened.

If not a flood or an accident, it could have been a TORNADO!
Very curious.
