Kansas started a plate design this year, it looks ok in this photo but in the sunlight it looks like the hair those nut jobs wear behind home plate. Must be some sort of wierd reflective thing. Saw a Texas one in another post (evil6 i think?),,,,,sure looked cool comparatively

At least it's got the 'green theme' going-on.
I think Arizona has approximately 50 different styles of license plates. Arizona embraced theme license plates with a vengeance when they figured out they could make a buck on them. They may change it in the future but our current basic license plate is pretty nondescript...it's OK.

They gave up on forcing us to cough up money and have us all change our plates at the same time. That was repealed and as of April 1, they will begin issuing the yellow plates for new registrations. I think the "special" plates (i.e. teams, professions etc) are still going to be white.

Thanks, with all the conflicting news it was tough to figure out what they decided.

Maryland has the already mentioned white backing with black lettering, then we have the Chesapeake Bay, and Agriculture Tags:
I like the color choices, it doesn't go with every color vehicle, but some nice options other than just white. I have the blue vanity tags on my le Mans Blue C6, and the Agriculture tags on my Go Mango Daytona Charger.

Like Wayne O and Green Hornet 2 say about Arizona and Texas, Florida has figured out the money-making aspect of the vanity plate thing and FL has a bazillion plates to chose from (pro teams, colleges, all the services, anti-abortion, environmental, etc., etc., etc.) - well take a look at:

So....in FL you can probably find something that's okay, butt....no Vette plate like Idaho!!!
