CRM is a great color.

It's beautiful and really lights up in sunlight. My only objection to it (and this is admittedly very nitpicky) is that being a shade of red, CRM doesn't contrast with the 4 taillights. I've always seen the Corvette's 4 taillights as being a strong design element; as such, I like them to stand out. On a red Corvette, they just don't stand out like they do when surrounded by most other colors.

Unless you don't like RED, I can't imagine you not loving that CRM C6. Although down here in TEXAS there are a few folks who think burnt orange is the only good color... The rest of America loves just about any version of red!!!

CRM is Cherry red in the Shade Candy Apple Red in the Sun
The Corvette reds are wonderful, but challenging.
I wanted Magnetic Red, but GM stopped it for the 06/07 years.
I saw my 2008 CRM coupe in the garage 1st time. Had to validate
with the seller that is really was CRM with Metallic Tintcoat.
In the Sun, it is magnificent. In the shade it is rich.
Have had torch red Vettes. CRM gets the most compliments.
I use Rejex. It has a high gloss finish.
All my kids want me to leave it to them when I die. (In 30 years)
You really have to see the reds to make your decision. Don't ever do it based on paint squares. Even the photos posted here are great, but this color changes in the light.

I have a Mag Red C5 which is a cousin color of the C6 CRM. Here's my take on this family of C5 & C6 metallic reds:
1. It's a moody color, looks fantastic in bright sun but can look like a muddy/maroon on
cloudy days. You can never expect it to look the same as it changes constantly with
the light.
2. Difficult to mod ... if you like stripes, forget it. Nothing looks good against this color,
but you don't really need anything to enhance it.
Count on powdercoating the calipers to match...you just can't use a brush on kit.
3. Not many interior colors look good, probably tan is the best.
4. The tail lights blend in with this color, not a bad thing if you like the monochromatic
look.
5. It's more of a grown up, classy Red than a boy racer Red.
All in all, I really like my Mag Red but it's not for everyone.
