DropTopGal Has A New Grand Sport
On Wednesday, a big, yellow truck pulled up to my house and delivered my new GS!! It is wonderful!
4 miles on the odometer, all shiny and new, with every option that I ordered. The initial first few miles it felt as if it was pulling slightly to the left and as if the parking brake was dragging the forward momentum down. After a harder (but not to hard) braking and pulling up on the parking brake a few times, it seems to have corrected the pulling left issue. Just to be safe, I'm having an alignment done one Monday by the local dealership.
The only issue is that the PAL does not work properly. I think the distant dealership did not install it correctly, so the local dealer will take care of that on Monday as well.
I already have multiple mods done!!
1. LED halo tail lights with tail light seals
2. Interior and license plate lights all LED
3. Vette tray 2 and partition
4. Lloyds front (Jake) and trunk (Corvette emblem) mats
5. Invisicord for my V1
6. Rear bumper chrome Corvette letters
7. Interior passenger side Corvette letters
8. Transparent roof headliners (2 piece)
Mods I have ready for install:
1. Wild to Mild
2. Exhaust plate (billet chrome with Corvette emblem)
3. Complete RaceMesh grill set (12 piece)
4. Special LED interior lighting in addition to the standard lighting locations.
On Thursday, I had the windows tinted and a clear bra (VentureShield) done. Since the bra should not be exposed to water for at least 24 hours, I did not drive it Friday as it was raining here.
Oh, factory add ons: 3LT, Nav, NPP, chrome wheels, full rear wing spoiler, PAL, pedal covers, heritage package, 2 tone interior (titanium / ebony), transparent roof.
MSRP was just over $69k, My price was $62k including all factory options.
I'll post pics after all of my mods are installed, likely next week.

Update: Thanks to Ray (kawal), my PAL is working perfectly!!
Color: JSB / titanium~ebony.
Trans: A6
I purchased several mods while waiting the month for the GS to be built & delivered.
Why not a convertible: Removing the targa top is still "drop top". Aside from going to the beach for a bikini/beach cruise, I only had the top down 10 to 15% of the time. The transparent roof is soooooo neat!! It is black from the outside, but a blue hue from the inside. It is very light and so easy to remove and store that I can do it alone (5'0 98lbs) in under a minute. Thus, best of both worlds.
FWIW: Compared to the convertible, the coupe (even in targa mode) has noticeably less cowl shake and no squeaks like the soft top.

Congratulations on the new GS. Ray Kawal is incredible when it comes to customer service, glad he was able to help you. Would love to see pics when you get them. The car sounds great! Are there any options you didn't get? Verts are nice, but you can't beat the lines of a Coupe!
Oh yea, almost forgot...Looking forward to a new avatar, but it will be hard to improve on the one you have.

Congrats on the new JSB GS. I have the same and love it. I was wondering, I just got a V1. Tell me about the invisicord you got for it, please. Can't wait to see the pics.
